Jincheng Villas

Jincheng Villas brings together a group of early twentieth-century villas in Suzhou's historic center. The heritage villas were restored using traditional craftsmanship, while later additions were refurbished with lightweight materials such as glass and steel. Boundary walls were removed to connect the compound with nearby parks and streets. Restored gardens and courtyards accommodate cafes, boutiques, craft workshops, and cultural events. Carefully proportioned new additions shape a welcoming streetscape, transforming the former residential estate into a public destination within the historic city.
