Jianguo Factory Service Center

Located among Jingdezhen's old town, historic kiln remains, and modern ceramic factories, the Jianguo Factory Service Center places parking and service facilities below ground by using the site's slope, freeing the upper level as a connected public terrace. Teahouses, shops, planted courtyards, and shaded gathering spaces occupy the raised platform. Carefully positioned openings frame views of the neighboring kiln landscape. Reclaimed kiln bricks form walls and paving, while planted voids bring daylight and ventilation into the underground spaces. The project integrates everyday urban infrastructure with an accessible public landscape.
